I recently saw someone new suggest their doubts about blogging. Personally I find writing a diary a great therapeutic device.. great for putting some sense into the soup of my thoughts... so that they don't just keep swirling around and around so much (at times).
So then on top of that to blog your diary - even snippets - seems such an adventurous thing to do. I guess I think of it as lighting the blue touchpaper... one of those fireworks might go boom.
But then again I think there's a 99.99999% chance of nothing appearing to happen... tho I think some people can benefit from your blogging without you even realising.

Don't you ever do stuff you're not sure about?
I do it all the time!-

Ah no, am bi-polar, so //have// to make sure I'm not in manic before I do something.

Jeez, K, what an overhead. Thanks for educating me. Cos I assumed, probably through insufficient training and lack of thought, that deep into the manic zone, self-checks just didn't happen.... with stories of people, not whom I know pesonally, getting into so many dificulties (to put it mildly).

lol, I have a very sensible core, and most of the time manage to avoid manic idiocy!

Mind you... maybe you didn't start with my impressive collection of hangups! lol

I've written a diary for years - now I do 500 words first thing every morning.
since the start of the year, I've been blogging that diary. A lot of the time, as you say, there's no noticeable reaction. But sometimes something or someone new pops up which tosses the whole kaleidoscope around and shows you a new pattern.
I love it

...and I guess that might be the beauty of it... I recently subscribed to the view that life is about what happens next rather than the cr@p beliefs that I was fed as a child... and if blogging just happens to be one of those mediums for what happens next, then so be it, or should I say, so blog it !
Thanks for your comment,h-o-c.-

'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans'.

Yeah... I think you have to make plans tho' to give life something to mess around with !

Maybe the trick is to make the plans, but be prepared to chuck them all away and start again if necessary.
You need to have something to be following all those times when life ISN'T throwing more exciting options your way.-

Yeah... good points... and on the other side of the fence for dreamers like me ... is to realise that the plan is not the real thing. Gotta make it happen... gotta change it as I go along... it's not sacred
